Shenzhen is the birthplace of voluntary service in mainland China. The data shows that at present, registered volunteers in Shenzhen have reached 1.209 million, accounting for 11.2% of the permanent population; There are 9464 group volunteer organizations and 522 professional volunteer service teams; The total number of U stations for community voluntary service reached 192, and seven types of community voluntary services, including community safety, poverty alleviation and helping the weak, were carried out regularly; Take the lead in issuing the policy of volunteer service points entry, "Mayor's Award for Volunteer Service", "Star Volunteer", "Hundred Excellent Volunteer" and other multi-level volunteer honor certification systems have been initially constructed; Electronic volunteer card, real-name red vest, personal accident insurance and other security measures have been improved.
